We are looking for applications for representatives for our Doctoral Researcher Committee (DRC), ideally a minimum of 2 positions to represent each of our 17 member HEIs. This is a unique opportunity to engage with SGSAH, working with your peers and our partners to build effective research communities that can support doctoral researchers to reach their full potential. Please note that you do not need to be a SGSAH funded PhD researcher to apply – just a desire to represent your fellow researchers within SGSAH. 

We are particularly keen to invite applications from doctoral researchers from the following universities as they are currently under-represented on the DRC: - 

Abertay University
Edinburgh Napier University
The Glasgow School of Art
Glasgow Caledonian University
Heriot-Watt University
Queen Margaret University
Robert Gordon University
Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
University of Aberdeen
University of the Highlands & Islands  

We currently have vacancies in the following devolved committees: 

• Discipline+ Catalysts, all disciplines, but we particularly welcome applications from those working in areas of Law or Media, Communications, Film and TV 
• Knowledge Exchange Hubs, particularly those interested in the Heritage Hub.
